Free Meal Service Beginning September 14

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved FREE Breakfast and Lunch for Sioux City Community School District students starting September 14, 2020. Free meals will be available through December 31, 2020, or until funding is depleted. Who can access meals? All Sioux City Community School District students ages 18 and under will be eligible for free meals (breakfast and lunch) All On-Site Learners will be served meals at school. Virtual Learners are still able to pick up meals.

SCCSD To Begin On-Site Learning Model Next Week

Dear Staff, Parents, and Guardians, In assessing the most recent COVID-19 data, and based on discussions with Siouxland District Health and the earlier unanimous vote of our Board of Directors, the Sioux City Community School District has determined it is safe to transition into the full On-Site Learning model beginning next week. The District is closed on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. On Tuesday, September 8, all students that are currently attending school two days a week under the Hybrid Model will now begin attending school full-time (Tuesday through Friday the week of September 8 and Monday through Friday each week after). Here’s a link to the District calendar so you can plan for all instructional days.
